YIN YOGA TEACHERS

Sarah Powers

I have 300 hours of teacher training from the Sarah Powers Insight Yoga Academy. This was not only the start of my yin learning but also fostered an interest into the Buddhist world fuelled by Sarah’s insightful lectures on Buddhism. For students interested in reading more about Sarah’s teachings she has written a brilliant reference manual called Insight Yoga – which is a comprehensive guide to yoga, mindfulness and meditation (available via Amazon). Sarah tours the world sharing her experience and philosophy to an increasingly wide audience. She is partnered by her husband Ty who teaches meditation techniques (Shamatha and Vipassana).

Paul Grilley

Paul is an internationally renowned Master Yoga teacher. For me, Paul is the anatomy expert. He has a PhD in the subject and has for over 30 years studied the body focusing on the skeleton, fascia and muscle groups. His anatomy teacher training taught me how to look at a body’s functions, its many differences & issues. This is invaluable knowledge when teaching students with a wide variety of injuries & conditions.

Author of “Yin Yoga A Quiet Practice” and A Yogi’s Guide to Chakra Meditation”.
